AC Milan Interested In Signing Manchester United, Real Madrid-Linked Striker Osimhen
Published: March 27, 2020
AC Milan are the latest European giants linked with a summer move for Lille goal poacher Victor Osimhen.
Italian transfer market website Calciomercato says the Nigeria national-teamer could leave Lille at the end of the 2019-2020 season and the Rossoneri face competition for his services, with Manchester United and Real Madrid credited with an interest.
Milan have a good relationship with Lille and did transfer business with the French Ligue 1 side last summer, buying the hugely talented Rafael Leão for a fee of 23 million euros.
The transfer fee being bandied about in the media to sign Osimhen is more than 80 million euros but in reality that might not be the case because of the looming global economic crisis in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 2015 U17 World Cup winner had attracted interest from AC Milan before switching to Lille last August.
A physical striker, Osimhen is tied to Lille until June 30, 2024.
