Published: March 31, 2020
Bukayo Saka is among three Nigeria-eligible players listed in Goal.com's NxGn 2020: The 50 best wonderkids in football, comprising the best talents born on or after January 1, 2001 from all across the world.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has shown great faith in Saka since his appointment as coach, with the England U19 international starting 12 out of the 15 games he was in charge, and has shown his versatility by playing as a makeshift left-back.
The Hale End Academy product who is Arsenal's top assist provider with ten in all competitions is the highest ranked Nigeria-eligible player at number 15.
Two Bayern Munich Academy products in Joshua Zirkzee and Karim Adeyemi were ranked 22nd and 24th respectively.
Zirkzee has found himself at the center of a two-way international tug of war between Nigeria and Netherlands following his brilliant performances since his promotion to Bayern Munich's first team, for whom he has scored three goals in five Bundesliga games.
Adeyemi, 18, was a level above his peers during the first half of the season at FC Liefering, scoring 9 goals and assisting a further eight.
The triple-eligible striker is qualified to represent Germany, Nigeria and Romania internationally.
