Lazio Reignite Interest In Nigerian Winger Who Models His Game After Neymar & Hazard
Published: April 03, 2020Italian Serie A club Lazio are looking to strengthen their attack next season by signing Heerenveen dazzler Chidera Ejuke, according to today's print edition of Rome based sports daily Corriere dello Sport.
This is not the first time the Biancocelesti have been linked with a move for the former Liverpool trialist as they attempted to sign him without success before his move to the Netherlands last summer.
It is thought that Ejuke's proposed move to Lazio would hinder the progress of another Nigerian-born winger in Bobby Adekanye, who signed a first team contract with the capital outfit last summer and has played seven games for their first team.
Officially the top dribbler in the Eredivisie, Ejuke has cited two of the top wingers in the world in the shape of Neymar and Eden Hazard as his role models.
The 22-year-old is valued in the region of five million euros by transfer market experts but that fee could rise considering his consistent performances since the beginning of the season.
The former Valerenga man has scored 10 goals in all competitions and has notched six assists.
