Exclusive : Lille Have Not Received 85 Million Euros Bid For Liverpool, Chelsea-Linked Striker Osimhen
Published: May 06, 2020
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report with certainty that reports suggesting that Lille received an 85 million euros bid from a mysterious club for Victor Osimhen are wide of the mark.
The Nigeria international insists he is in the dark over the offer from the unnamed club and was surprised to see that the rumour went viral on social media.
Rumours have intensified in recent weeks linking Osimhen with a departure from Lille, less than one year after his arrival at the club, following a breakout season that saw him score 18 goals in all competitions.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are among the clubs he has been linked with that have the finances to launch a bid for the Super Eagles striker.
Lille higher-ups have assured that Osimhen won't be leaving the club in the upcoming transfer window, provided they don't receive a monster bid too good to refuse.
The 21-year-old was valued at more than 80 million euros by Lille before the coronavirus pandemic.
