Belarus Premier League Second Highest Scorer Bala Makes It Four Goals In Four Games
Nigerian midfielder Umar Mohammed Bala continues to impress in front of goal in this season's Belarusian Premier League, netting his fourth of the season in Slutsk's 2-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Energetyk-BGU at Stadyen Haradski on Friday afternoon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The visitors established a two-goal lead courtesy of a brace from Yaxshiboev, who converted two spot kicks in the 17th and 28th minutes, but Bala chose a good time to pull a goal back four minutes before the interval.

The Slutsk number 17 found himself free in the penalty area and blasted a right-footer into the roof of the net.

Bala has either registered his name on the scoresheet or provided an assist in each of his last four matches in the division.

The 22-year-old found the net against Soligorsk, Belshina (2) and Energetik-BGU and bagged his first assist of the season in a 2-1 win vs Dinamo Minsk on May 2.

In the race for the Golden Boot award, Bala, Gorbachik (Torpedo BelAZ), Kadimyan (Neman), Khvashchinskiy (Minsk) and  Shikavka (Dinamo Minsk) are all on four goals to place second behind leading scorer, Energetyk-BGU's Yaxshiboev.
