'I Think I Am Ready' - Liverpool Loanee Awoniyi Looks Forward To Resumption Of Bundesliga

Former Nigeria U-17 starlet Taiwo Awoniyi is looking forward to the resumption of the German Bundesliga this weekend amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
Awoniyi on loan from Premier League champions in waiting, Liverpool, is expected to play a part for his on loan club on Sunday Mainz 04 as they face Cologne at home.
Awoniyi spoke to BBC Sport Africa on the return of the league and insists the Mainz team players are set for action.
"The (Mainz) players are already switched their mentality 100% to the game," Awoniyi noted.
"This is what we do. Whenever we are called upon, we just have to be prepared for it. I think I am ready as well as all the other players" Awoniyi stressed enthusiastically.
The Bundesliga becomes the first of the biggest European football leagues to restart following the global pandemic with million of football fans keen to see how the league will adhere to safety protocols.
