Former Super Eagles Invitee Scores First-Ever Bundesliga Goal Four Years After Debut
Former Super Eagles invitee Noah Joel Sarenren Bazee scored his first-ever German Bundesliga goal as Augsburg registered a 3-0 win against Schalke 04 at the VELTINS-Arena (Gelsenkirchen) on Sunday afternoon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The visitors took the lead after six minutes thanks to Eduard Loewen and the scoreboard did not change until the 76th minute when the German-Nigerian doubled the advantage.

Bazee rifled home into the bottom corner after some poor defending from the Schalke players allowed him to get into the box, and things turned from bad to worse for the home team when Sergio Cordova netted Augsburg's third goal on 90 minutes.

The 23-year-old came off the bench in the 59th minute to replace Switzerland national-teamer Ruben Vargas who could not continue as a result of injury.

Bazee had to wait for four years before netting his first goal in the Bundesliga, having made his top-flight debut against Hertha Berlin on April 8, 2016.

The former Hannover 96 starlet made his nineteenth Bundesliga appearance in today's game against Schalke 04.
