SC Heerenveen Turn Down Eight Million Euros Bid From Chinese Club For Ejuke
Published: May 27, 2020
SC Heerenveen have rejected a bid from an unnamed Chinese club for promising Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke, according to Dutch football magazine Voetbal International.
Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported more than three weeks ago that the Super Eagles hopeful had received offers from clubs based in China and United Arab Emirates.
This website understands that the Chinese club lodged an eight million euros bid for the former Valerenga starlet.
Though the Dutch media outlet has claimed that SC Heerenveen have slapped an asking price of more than fourteen million euros on the head of Ejuke, it is believed that the Eredivisie side have not fixed a specific asking price for their Nigerian star and the fee depends on negotiations.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can also report that the 22-year-old is not interested in moving to China for now in order not to diminish his chances of breaking into the Super Eagles set-up.
Ejuke was the top dribbler in the Dutch top-flight last term and ended the campaign with nine goals in 25 matches and delivered four assists.
