Rohr Using Technology To Monitor Fitness Of Super Eagles Goalkeeper Uzoho
Gernot Rohr has revealed that he is using technology to monitor the fitness of Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.

The Deportivo de La Coruña glovesman has been inactive for more than seven months after suffering a serious external meniscus and hip injury in Nigeria's international friendly against Brazil on October 13 in Singapore which ended in a 1-1 draw.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel for Uzoho as he is nearing a return to full fitness ahead of the Super Eagles next international matches.

"Now we have a little problem with the injury of Uzoho, he is doing very well in the training, I see his videos from the training all the time, we have video calls and I can see what he's doing, " Rohr said to Colin Udoh in an Instagram conversation monitored by allnigeriasoccer.com.

"We give him also some advice, he has not come back to collective training. I think this goalkeeper department is very important."

Rohr added that Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi, who was having a great season with Kaizer Chiefs before sporting activities were halted due to the coronavirus outbreak, complete the top three goalkeepers in the national team but has not closed the door on new players to bolster the goalkeeping department.

"We have also Ezenwa, who is a local player, we have also Akpeyi who did very well with Kaizer Chiefs so we have these three goalkeepers.

"All the time if we find a better one the door must be open," he concluded.
