Tottenham Hotspur Target Osimhen Asks Napoli For Wages Of N9.2 Billion
Published: June 04, 2020
Tottenham Hotspur target Victor Osimhen has reportedly set out conditions for Napoli to sign him from Lille in the upcoming transfer window.
According to transfer market journalist Nicolo Schira, the Nigeria international wants a five-year deal with wages of four million euros a year or twenty million euros over the duration of the contract (approximately N9.2 billion in Nigerian currency).
The highest paid player in Napoli's current squad is Italy international winger Lorenzo Insigne who pockets around 8.5 million euros annually.
The Italian journalist has claimed the Naples side are looking for 60 million euros for the 21-year-old.
Osimhen moved to Lille from Sporting Charleroi in August 2019, with the French Ligue 1 club paying 12 million euros for his signature.
Last season, the former Wolfsburg starlet scored 18 goals in all competitions, with two of the strikes coming in Champions League matches against Chelsea and Valencia.
