Hardworking Winger Sekidika Catches The Eye Of Galatasaray Coach
Published: June 08, 2020
Nigerian winger Jesse Sekidika, 23, is performing well in Galatasaray training ahead of the resumption of the Turkish Super Lig.
Turkish sports daily Fanatik citing Milliyet is reporting that Sekidika is set to be given more playing opportunities for the remainder of the season and the team will benefit from his pace and physicality, having caught the eye of manager Fatih Terim.
It is claimed that he is working harder than anyone else in Galatasaray's preparation taking place in Florya.
The Brooke House College product was signed from Eskisehirspor in the January transfer window and it has not been easy breaking into the starting lineup of the Lions.
Sekidika has yet to make his full debut for Galatasaray in the Super Lig, making three appearances off the bench and logging 14 minutes before the league was paused due to the coronavirus crisis.
Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations winner Sofiane Feghouli were ahead of Sekidika in manager Terim's pecking order of wingers.
