Glasgow Celtic Battling Crystal Palace To Sign Former Liverpool Winger

Scottish Premiership champions Glasgow Celtic are interested in signing former Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe but face competition.
According to The Sunday Mirror, via HITC, Celtic want to sign Ibe on a free transfer but Crystal Palace have entered the race for his services.
The one-time Nigeria Football Federation target is looking for a new employer following his release by Bournemouth, whom he joined on a then club-record fee in 2016.
While Celtic are working on the permanent transfer of Southampton-owned winger Mohamed Elyounoussi, Ibe could be an alternative to the Norwegian.
The Cherries had high hopes when they acquired the former England youth international but he struggled during the four seasons he spent at the club, no thanks to injuries and loss of form.
The 24-year-old managed five goals in 92 appearances as a Bournemouth player.
Three Nigeria-eligible youngsters in Jonathan Afolabi, Armstrong Okoflex and goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi played for Celtic's youth teams last season.
