Published: June 30, 2020
French Ligue 1 club Monaco have joined the race to sign ex-Nigeria U23 international Umar Sadiq, who is also on the radar of Lille as a replacement for Victor Osimhen this summer.
According to Sportski Zurnal, the Principality outfit are ready to pay eight million euros plus bonuses worth two million euros to sign the Partizan Belgrade frontman.
Monaco's ten million euros valuation is below Partizan's fifteen million euros asking price on the striker's head.
"For us, the transition period, as far as departures are concerned, is over. Unless Sadiq leaves , and he cannot go below 15 million euros, " Partizan's Managing Director Sport, Vazura said.
The former Glasgow Rangers striker has also attracted interest from teams in Germany, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Russia.
Sadiq, who scored 17 goals and provided the same number of assists this season, has two and a half years left on his contract with Partizan Belgrade.
