Osimhen's New Agent In Talks With Man Utd, Liverpool; Napoli Remain In Pole Position
Published: July 17, 2020
Celebrated Italian transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla writes on his website that Victor Osimhen's new agent William D'Avila of DW Sports Management is in talks with multiple clubs over a summer transfer.
Napoli are confident of getting the deal over the line in the coming weeks but face competition from two Premier League giants in the shape of Manchester United and Liverpool, according to the Italian media outlet.
Though D'Avila has not rejected the offer from Napoli, the intermediary asked for more time because he intends to involve the big Premier League clubs in the scramble for the signature of Osimhen.
Osimhen's new agent has done business with English clubs in the past, having brokered the deals that took Oghenekaro Etebo and Henry Onyekuru to Stoke City and Everton respectively.
Tottenham Hotspur had explored the possibility of signing Osimhen prior to his trip to Italy for contract talks with Napoli chiefs while Arsenal, Everton and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest.
The former Wolfsburg starlet put himself in the shop window after netting 18 goals in his debut season in France and winning the Marc-Vivien FoƩ award.
