Premier League New Boys Leeds United Interested In Signing N10.4B-Rated Super Eagles Star
Published: July 23, 2020English Premier League newcomers Leeds United have joined the race to sign Nigeria national-teamer Emmanuel Dennis this summer, according to reports.
Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws (via Voetbalbelgie) says The Whites are working on a deal to sign the Club Brugge winger but the First Division A champions have to reduce their asking price in the region of 20 million euros (N11.4 billion).
Other teams interested in the Nigerian including Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United have refused to pay the fee quoted by Club Brugge.
Dennis has made it clear he wants to leave Club Brugge before the close of the transfer window and didn't take part in their latest friendly against Deinze on Wednesday.
Leeds United are searching for attacking talent to bolster their squad after they sealed promotion to the Premier League.
Dennis had nine goals to go with two assists in his third season in Belgium, and can play as a right winger, left winger and center forward.
