Leading Nigerian-Born Goal Contributor In Europe Valued At N10.5 Billion By Partizan Coach
Published: July 27, 2020
The leading Nigerian-born goal contributor in the European top-flight leagues, Sadiq Umar has been valued at 20 million euros (approximately N10.5 billion) by Partizan Belgrade coach Savo Milosevic.
The Rio Olympics bronze medalist racked up numbers too good to ignore in the 2019-2020 season, with a hand in 34 goals spread across 39 matches, including 25 in the Serbian Super Liga.
Milosevic has stated that Partizan won't consider offers for the Nigerian less than 10 million euros.
"Sadiq's real price at this moment, having in mind the player's profile, is higher than in the winter. Then I said we wouldn't let him go for less than 15 million euros, now I say it costs 20! " Milosevic was quoted as saying by Zurnal.
"I'm not saying that we will be able to take that money, but we will not even consider offers under 10 million euros."
The Serbian football tactician believes Sadiq will be worth between 40 and 50 million euros in the coming years.
The 23-year-old was watched by the likes of Manchester United, Valencia, AC Milan and CSKA Moscow last season.
