UEFA Announce Referee For Inter Vs Getafe And Why It's Bad News For Victor Moses
European football administrative body UEFA has confirmed that Englishman Anthony Taylor will be the referee for arguably the standout tie of the last 16 of the Europa League between Inter Milan and Getafe at the VELTINS-Arena (Gelsenkirchen) on Wednesday evening, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn will work as Taylor's assistants, Chris Kavanagh is the fourth official, while Stuart Attwell and Paul Tierney will be in the VAR chair.

Victor Moses is in line to feature for the Italian club against the Spanish opponents but the appointment of Taylor as a match official will be bad news for the former Nigeria international.

The Manchester-born referee sent off the Chelsea-owned winger when they faced off with Arsenal in the 2017 FA Cup final, dishing out two yellow cards to the Nigerian, one for a foul and the second that got him sent off for simulation.

That same season, 2016-2017, the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner was cautioned by the 41-year-old referee when Chelsea visited Hull City in the Premier League.

And it doesn't end there as the following season, Moses was yellow carded by Taylor during Chelsea's 1-0 win against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Of his twelve appearances in the Europa League since his debut in the competition against Sparta Prague, the Inter Milan number 11 has never been cautioned.
