Torino In The Market For Fullbacks: Chelsea Product Aina's Future Hangs In The Balance
Published: August 06, 2020
The future of Ola Aina at Italian Serie A club Torino is hanging in the balance with the leadership of the Maroons in the market for at least two new fullbacks ahead of the start of the 2020-2021 season.
Calciomercato is reporting that Torino technical director Davide Vagnati has set the wheels in motion to sign Albania international Elseid Hysaj, who can play both as a left and right defender like the Super Eagle.
Torino are preparing to bid farewell to offensive fullback Lorenzo De Silvestri whose contract runs out at the end of this month.
Aina continues to be linked with a return to the Premier League, with West Ham and Everton mentioned as possible destinations for the Chelsea Academy product.
Ever since he joined Torino, first on a loan before the deal was made permanent, the former England U19 skipper has made 69 appearances in all competitions.
Aina has three more years remaining on his contract with Torino and is valued at 8 million euros by transfer market experts.
