Italian Transfer Market Expert : Napoli Coach, Sporting Director Like Ex-Chelsea Star Aina
Published: August 09, 2020Italian transfer market expert Emanuele Cammaroto thinks there is a possibility of former Chelsea defender Ola Aina joining Napoli this summer.
The Blues have already broken their transfer record this summer, bringing in Victor Osimhen from Lille for a fee of at least 70 million euros.
The future of Aina at Torino has been the subject of speculation in recent months, with reports linking him with a return to the Premier League and even French champions Paris Saint-Germain have been credited with an interest in the versatile fullback.
Cammaroto has confirmed that Napoli have opened a line of communication with Torino over the signing of Aina, a deal that could see Elseid Hysaj move in the opposite direction.
Writing in his column for Napoli Magazine (via Area Napoli), Cammaroto stated : "Napoli deals with Torino but not the Meret and Sirigu exchange, on which there is no discussion, instead there is talk of a possible exchange between Hysaj that interests the grenades, while Napoli evaluates Ola Aina, defensive wild card that Giuntoli and Gattuso like".
Aina is holidaying in the south-east of France ahead of the start of pre-season training with Torino.
