Chelsea Loanee Victor Moses Called Upon From The Bench As Inter Beat Bayer Leverkusen
Published: August 10, 2020
The Chelsea loanee who started from the bench at the Merkur Spiel-Arena came on for Danilo D'Ambrosio after 59 minutes for his third appearance of the season in the competition, and helped Antonio Conte's side see off their German opposition.
Nicolo Barella and Romelu Lukaku had the Nerazzurri in front before Kai Havertz pulled one back for Leverkusen in an enthralling first half action.
Thus Moses has now racked up 13 appearances in the competition since his Europa League debut, winning the
competition in his debut season with Chelsea in the 2012-13 campaign.
This is the first time Inter will be playing in a European semi-final since the 2010 season, when they pipped Barcelona to a final berth.
