Official : Inter Milan Academy Product Ogunseye Links Up With Serie B Side A.S. Cittadella
Published: August 11, 2020Italian-born Nigerian center forward Roberto Ogunseye has linked up with A.S. Cittadella, informs the official website of the Serie B club.
A.S. Cittadella confirmed the signing of the Inter Milan Academy product in the January transfer window but he spent the remainder of the season on loan at Olbia Calcio.
He netted 7 goals in 25 games in the regular Serie C season, helping Olbia qualify for the playoffs but his greatest individual performance last term was netting a hat-trick in a Coppa Italia match vs Rieti in November.
Ogunseye stated : "I am charged and impatient to see what awaits me. I am sure of myself and I know what I can give to my new team.
"I'll have to make sure I get acclimatized as quickly as possible."
The 25-year-old will begin training with his new teammates under the orders of Mr. Venturato at the resumption of training, set for September 1 at the Tombolato.
Ogunseye enjoyed loan spells at Montebelluna, Calcio Marano, Prato and Olbia during his time with Inter Milan.
