Ejuke In Heerenveen Studying Offer From CSKA Moscow; Dutch Club Yet To Sign Club-To-Club Agreement
Published: August 26, 2020
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow are in advanced talks with SC Heerenveen over the permanent signing of Super Eagles hopeful Chidera Ejuke.
However, suggestions that the exciting winger has flown to the Russian capital to complete his transfer to the Muscovites are wide of the mark.
Ejuke has been left out of the Heerenveen squad for their pre-season training camp in De Lutte because he is negotiating with CSKA Moscow.
The 22-year-old is still in the Netherlands, precisely Heerenveen, studying the contract offer from CSKA Moscow, making sure everything is in order before giving the green light to the deal.
There are a couple of amendments to be made to the contract sent to Ejuke.
While Heerenveen have accepted a bid in the region of 12 million euros and have an agreement in principle to sell the Nigerian to CSKA Moscow, the Eredivisie club have yet to sign a club-to-club agreement with their Russian counterparts.
Top dribbler in the Eredivisie last season, Ejuke scored 10 goals and assisted six others which put him on the radar of Russian, French, Dutch and Gulf clubs this summer.
