Official : CSKA Moscow Confirm Signing Of Heerenveen's Ejuke On Four-Year Deal
Published: August 29, 2020
Through a press release published on their official website, Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow have announced the signing of Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke from Dutch club Heerenveen.
The 22-year-old has appended his signature to a four-year deal that will see him remain at the Muscovites until the end of the 2023-2024 season, and this confirms an exclusive report by allnigeriasoccer.com two days ago.
Ejuke lists Gombe United (Nigeria) and Vålerenga (Norway) amongst his previous clubs.
Although the transfer fee has not been disclosed, this website can report with certainty that Heerenveen agreed to terminate Ejuke's contract three years before its expiration in exchange for 12 million euros.
For the remainder of the 2020-2021 season, the Nigerian will wear the number 11 jersey, previously worn by the likes of Lucas Santos, Abel Hernández, Vitinho and Aleksey Ionov.
After five rounds in the Russian Premier League, CSKA Moscow occupy the ninth position in the table with seven points.
