Financial Details Of Etebo's Move To Galatasaray : Player's Wages, Loan Fee, Purchase Option Revealed
Published: September 09, 2020Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray have informed the Public Disclosure Platform that they have reached an agreement with Stoke City for the loan transfer of Oghenekaro Etebo until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
The Nigeria international was unveiled as a new player of Galatasaray on Wednesday evening following a successful medical at Liv Hospital Ulus and officials of the club were also present during the medical check.
The signing ceremony was attended by Galatasaray President Mustafa Cengiz, Vice Presidents Abdurrahim Albayrak and Yusuf Günay.
Galatasaray have agreed to pay Stoke City a loan fee
of 675,000 euros, with an option to buy set at 7.5 million euros before
the end of the midfielder's loan spell.
In his first words after the deal was sealed, Etebo told Galatasaray TV : "I am very happy to have come to such a big and historic club. Thank you to our president and our vice presidents for their warm welcome.
"I really felt at home. See you at the championship at the end of the season. On this occasion, I would like to thank our President, all technical staff and all our fans for a warm welcome. "
Etebo wore the number 13 jersey at the signing ceremony.
