EPL Squad Nos : Four Nigerian Stars Assigned No. 25 Shirt Made Popular By Arsenal Legend Kanu

Four Nigeria-eligible players have chosen to wear the number 25 jersey in the Premier League for the 2020-2021 season, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
It is a number made popular in these parts by ex-Super Eagles striker Nwankwo Kanu who wore the shirt number during his four-and-a-half-year affiliation with Arsenal, with whom he won two Premier League titles.
Ahead of their Premier League opener against Semi Ajayi's West Brom, Leicester City have confirmed that their holding midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has retained the number 25 jersey for the new season.
The Nath Boys product has been using the shirt number since moving to the Foxes from Racing Genk in January 2017.
As previously reported by this website, Odion Ighalo will adorn Manchester United's number 25 kit and the Red Devils confirmed he wore the number in yesterday's 1-0 loss to Aston Villa in a friendly.
For the first time in his career, Crystal Palace new signing Eberechi Eze will wear the number 25 on the back of his shirt as his favoured number 10 has been taken by Andros Townsend.
The Nigeria Football Federation target demonstrated his ability on his Premier League debut vs Southampton wearing the shirt.
Fulham's Josh Onomah has retained his number 25 shirt from the 2019-2020 season and wore it when he made his full Premier League debut against Arsenal on Saturday.
