'This Kid Is So Special' - Crystal Palace's Senegal Star Backs Eze To Flourish In Premier League
Published: September 27, 2020
Crystal Palace's Senegal international Cheikhou Kouyaté is backing England U21 international of Nigerian descent, Eberechi Eze to flourish in the Premier League.
Kouyaté believes Eze can make an impact in the English top-flight if he is given time to adapt at Selhurst Park.
Eagles boss Roy Hodgson handed a full debut to the Anglo-Nigerian winger as Palace were beaten 2-1 by Everton on Saturday afternoon.
The onetime Queens Park Rangers boy came off the bench in two previous matches against Southampton and Manchester United.
"This kid is so special. Now we need to give him a little bit of time," Kouyaté said to the official website of the Eagles.
"The Premier League are going to enjoy him because he has a good mentality, he plays well and we are happy to have this boy here."
