Super Eagles Striker Staying Put At Watford For At Least Three More Months
Published: September 30, 2020
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria international Isaac Success has no plans whatsoever to depart Watford before the close of the summer transfer window, meaning he is set to stay put at the Vicarage Road outfit until at least January 2021.
The former Granada man switched agents earlier this year in a bid to engineer a move away from Watford this summer but a transfer is almost impossible for the time being because he is currently on the sidelines due to injury.
Success had a frustrating spell at Watford last season, culminating in just seven appearances of which only two were starts, as a result of fitness concerns, and has not been utilised by manager Vladimir Ivić in the ongoing campaign.
Watford had high hopes for the Super Eagles striker, signing him for a then club record transfer fee of fifteen million euros from Granada in the summer of 2016.
The 2013 U17 World Cup winner was shipped out on loan to Malaga for the second half of the 2017-2018 season as he sought more game time with a view to a possible inclusion in the Super Eagles squad to the World Cup in Russia.
Success has three years to run on his contract with the Championship club.
