Photo Confirmation : Former Crystal Palace Goalkeeper Ogbebor-Onaiwu Joins Greek Club
Published: October 07, 2020Through a press release published on their official website, Greek Super League 2 club Levadiakos have announced the signing of 2000-born Nigerian goalkeeper Edward Ogbebor-Onaiwu, subject to international clearance.
A product of the Crystal Palace Academy, Ogbebor-Onaiwu has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Levadiakos, until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
Ogbebor-Onaiwu, who has a British passport but has committed his international future to Nigeria, will be spending the remainder of the season on loan at Pannafpliakosfc 2017.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the promising glovesman was offered a contract by Levadiakos last month following a successful trial that lasted for about one week.
He has trained with the Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles in the past and was invited to train with the Dream Team VI before the 2016 Olympic Games.
Ogbebor-Onaiwu has also featured for the youth teams of English clubs Charlton Athletic, AFC Wimbledon and Stevenage.
