Ademola Lookman marked his full Premier League debut for Fulham with a stunning solo goal against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday but the Cottagers had to settle for a share of the spoils after conceding in the 85th minute.
Lookman showed determination to skip past challenges and smashed a left-footed shot into the roof of the net to open the scoring in the 77th minute.
On his first goal for Fulham, he told the club's official website : "I can score those goals. I can score all different types of goals, but it’s just disappointing that we didn’t get the three points."
The 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup winner was unhappy after
the final whistle because Fulham failed to secure all three points
despite his strike.
"It’s disappointing really. I thought we should have got three points from the game, but it’s done now, so onto the next one.
"We all believe we can do great things this season. Obviously we’re a new group so we’re still gelling together, but that will come.
"We expect good things will come in the near future."
Lookman netted his first Premier League goal on his Everton debut in a 4-0 rout of Manchester City in January 2017.
