Chelsea Loanee Moses Makes Home Debut In Spartak Moscow's Loss To Rostov
Chelsea-owned winger Victor Moses has made his home debut for Russian Premier League club Spartak Moscow.

The former Nigeria international had two matches under his belt prior to today's fixture but they came in away matches with Khimki and Krasnodar.

Spartak Moscow coach Domenico Tedesco stated at the pre-match press conference that he would give more minutes to his marque signing from Chelsea and he kept his word, with the former Nigeria international in action for 81 minutes.

Moses lasted 35 minutes on the pitch on his full debut before going 67 minutes in his first start for the Muscovites, but he was considered for a more prominent role against Rostov having stepped up his fitness.

The half time whistle blew with Spartak trailing the visitors 1-0, Pavel Mamaev the scorer.

Moses has been loaned out to a sixth different club after previous stints at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce and Inter Milan.

Despite the loss, Spartak remain top in the provisional standings but have played one game more than Chidera Ejuke's CSKA Moscow who are guests to Rotor on Sunday afternoon.
