Ugbo Becomes First Cercle Brugge Player To Score In 3 Consecutive Home Games Since 2011
Chelsea-owned striker Ike Ugbo has become the first Cercle Brugge player to score in three consecutive home games since 2011, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The Nigeria Football Federation target found the net in the 67th minute but still ended up on the losing side with Cercle Brugge beaten 3-1 by SV Zulte Waregem at the Jan-Breydel-Stadion on Sunday evening.

Ugbo equaled a club record that was first set by Angolan midfielder Rudy who scored in consecutive home matches against RAEC Mons, Racing Genk and Beerschot AC in the first half of the 2011-2012 season.

The former England U17 international of Nigerian descent netted in back-to-back home matches against Sint-Truiden and KAA Gent(2) before yesterday's meeting with SV Zulte Waregem.

He has netted five league goals in total since joining Cercle Brugge in August, including his strike on his top-flight debut against KV Mechelen on August 22.

Ugbo has shown he has the ability to score all kinds of goals, having scored with his left foot, right foot, from the spot and with his head.

The 22-year-old, who is also eligible to represent France internationally, previously spent time on loan at Barnsley,
Milton Keynes Dons, Scunthorpe United and Roda JC.
