Ancelotti Insists Everton Will Not Pay Special Attention To Fulham Danger Man Lookman
Published: November 20, 2020
Manager Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that Everton will not pay special attention to Fulham danger man Ademola Lookman in Sunday's Premier League meeting at Craven Cottage.
The Super Eagles hopeful has a past with the Toffees as he was on the books of the Goodison Park outfit for two and a half years before sealing a permanent transfer to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2019.
Apart from his well documented failure to score a Panenka penalty in Fulham's last match before the international break against West Ham, Lookman has been the shining light in what has been a dismal season so far for the Cottagers.
The 2017 U20 World Cup winner with England has proved to be a handful for Premier League defenders with his pace and trickery.
When asked about Lookman during Friday's pre-match press conference, Ancelotti was quoted as saying by Liverpool Echo : "No. We are looking at the team. I know some of their players played for us but we look at them and are focused on them as a team".
Lookman scored 4 goals and provided two assists in 48 appearances during his time at the Merseyside club.
