Etebo Not Returning To Stoke City In January, Focused On Helping Galatasaray
Published: December 07, 2020
Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo says the most important thing presently is to keep working hard so as to help his Turkish Club, Galatasaray stay strong in the Turkish Super Lig.
Some outlets recently reported that the former Warri Wolves and C.D. Feirense star who is on loan at Galatasaray from Stoke is set to return to his parent club in January.
Some sources also reported that the Nigeria international is not happy with life in Turkey, but according to Mr. Eddie Iseri Ogbemudia of Myron TopClass Sport Outfits, the agency that manages the image rights of the player, Etebo is only focused on playing football regularly.
Contrary to reports that the 25-year-old is not settled, the Rio 2016 Olympics bronze medalist has never fallen out with coach Fatih Terim.
Etebo was a second half substitute in Galatasaray's 3-0 win over Hatayspor on Saturday, replacing Emre Kilinc.
He has appeared in 10 official matches for the Istanbul giants since his loan move from the Potters, including two in qualifying rounds of the Europa League.
