New Norrkoping Signing Adegbenro's Jersey Number And Length Of Contract Revealed
Published: January 14, 2021Swedish Allsvenskan side IFK Norrkoping announced the signing of Nigerian winger Samuel Adegbenro on Wednesday without disclosing the length of contract he signed.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Adegbenro has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with IFK Norrkoping, keeping him in the Ostergotland province until at least the end of the 2023 season.
In addition, this website understands that he has been handed the number 8 jersey for the upcoming season.
Adegbenro departed Rosenborg after making 83 appearances for the Norwegian giants, scoring sixteen goals.
Unarguably his finest moment in a Rosenborg shirt was when he almost single-handedly sent Ajax Amsterdam out of the Europa League qualifying rounds, scoring a brace in a 3-2 win on August 24, 2017.
IFK Norrkoping finished sixth in the Swedish top-flight in the 2020 season.
