Confirmed Loan Moves For Bournemouth's Ofoborh, West Ham's Afolayan, Royal Antwerp's Pius
Published: February 02, 2021Three more players of Nigerian descent completed loan moves before the close of the winter transfer market on Monday.
Belgian First Division A side Sint-Truiden have signed Junior Pius on loan from rivals Royal Antwerp, The Great Old have confirmed through their official website.
Sint-Truiden negotiated a purchase option in the deal taking Pius to the club.
A center back by trade, the 25-year-old netted two goals in six appearances for Royal Antwerp this season but has been frozen out of the first-team fold since September 2020.
Former Nigeria U20 international Nnamdi Ofoborh has returned for a second spell at Wycombe Wanderers, signing a loan deal until the end of this season.
The Bournemouth-owned central midfielder has been allocated the number 28 jersey at the Chairboys.
League Two club Bolton Wanderers have loaned in Dapo Afolayan from Premier League side West Ham.
The 23-year-old, a product of the Chelsea academy, netted on his Hammers debut last week in a 4-0 Emirates FA Cup victory against Doncaster Rovers.
