Published: February 13, 2021Chelsea held a recovery session at Cobham Training Center on Friday, a day after seeing off Barnsley to advance to the quarterfinals of the Emirates FA Cup.
Those that started against the Championship side had a recovery session in the gym while the rest of the squad sweated it out on the pitch.
England youth international of Nigerian descent Faustino Anjorin played his first game under new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel on Thursday, coming off the bench to replace Hakim Ziyech in the 69th minute.
The 19-year-old was pictured by Chelsea's official website working out in the Surrey sunshine on Friday afternoon.
The Blues are next in action when they face Newcastle United in the Premier League on Monday night and manager Thomas Tuchel is set to monitor Anjorin in two more training sessions before deciding whether to include him in the matchday squad against the Magpies.
The Anglo-Nigerian has not been called up for a Premier League game since he was a non-playing substitute against Everton on December 12, 2020.
Anjorin has made five appearances for Chelsea's first team to date since his debut, logging 153 minutes.
