By finding the net for Racing Genk in their 3-1 loss to KV Oostende on Wednesday, Paul Onuachu has set a new personal record for goals in a single season.
The Nigeria international broke the deadlock when he converted a spot kick in the tenth minute, taking his tally for the season to 24 goals in all competitions, including 23 in the Belgian First Division A.

Onuachu's previous best for goals in a single season was the 23 he notched during the 2016-2017 campaign at FC Midtjylland, a feat he equaled exactly a week ago when he netted the winner against Sint-Truiden.
The FC Ebedei product has been in sensational form in his last ten games, scoring nine goals in total.
Zulte Waregem, Beerschot V.A, KV Mechelen, KV Oostende, Waasl.-Beveren, RSC Charleroi, KAS Eupen, Mouscron, Cercle Brugge, Royal Antwerp, KV Kortrijk, KAA Gent and Sint-Truiden have suffered in the hands of the FC Ebedei product this term.
