Former Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel has revealed that his father has been a fan of Fenerbahce even before he joined the Turkish Super Lig giants in the winter transfer market.
After going eight games without scoring, the Nigerian-born player finally got on the scoresheet as the Yellow Canaries claimed a 3-0 win over Konyaspor three days ago.
Osayi-Samuel's father and sisters were delighted following his first Fenerbahce goal.
"They were also very happy. I talked to my father. He's a bit crazy, frankly, he takes every match very seriously," Osayi-Samuel was quoted as saying by online newspaper T24,.
"Even if I score 5-6 goals, he says it's not enough for me. He always wants me to work hard. We analyze the match together. My whole family in general, my sisters were very happy.
"My father said that someone he lived with in his youth was a very strong Fenerbahçe fan.
