Ike Ugbo was on target to help Cercle Brugge secure a 2-1 win over Beerschot in a Belgian First Division A clash at Jan Breydelstadion (Brugge) on Sunday afternoon.
Giulian Biancone got them on their way in the 18th minute, Ugbo doubled the advantage when he converted a spot kick in the 34th minute, before Van den Bergh halved the deficit four minutes after the restart.
Ugbo's goal took him up to fourteen goals in all competitions with all but one of the goals netted in the Belgian top-flight.
The Super Eagles hopeful has become Cercle Brugge's main attacking threat since his loan move from Chelsea last August and none of his teammates has scored more.
Fourteen is the most goals he has scored in a single-season, beating his personal best of thirteen he achieved last term at Roda JC Kerkrade.
Though Cercle Brugge have an option to sign Ugbo on a permanent basis in the summer, he is on the radar of several clubs in Belgium, France, Russia and Spain.
The 22-year-old has around one year left on his his contract with parent club Chelsea.
