French, Belgium clubs and Genoa interested in signing Crotone striker Simy
Published: April 06, 2021
Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo will have no problems joining a new club in the summer transfer window if Crotone lose their Italian top-flight status as expected at the end of this season.
With 15 goals in 29 appearances, the Nigeria international has already put himself in the shop window.
Only three players have scored more than Simy this season - namely Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo (24), Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku (20) and Atalanta's Luis Muriel (18).
According to reporting by La Gazzetta dello Sport via Tuttomercatoweb, Simy's displays have earned him interest from Genoa, while clubs in France and Belgium are also interested in acquiring his services in the next transfer window.
Simy has been at Crotone for five years after joining from Gil Vicente FC, and is credited with 61 goals and 11 assists in 150 matches for the Serie A strugglers.
He has a contract with the Rossoblù until the end of the 2021-2022 season.
