Iheanacho battles Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs, Man City stars for PFA Fans' Player of the Month
Published: April 07, 2021
Kelechi Iheanacho has been recognized once again for his outstanding form last month following his nomination for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for March 2021.
The Nigeria international has landed on the shortlist after scoring seven goals in all competitions in March.
The Leicester City number 14 began the month with a sensational goal against Burnley, got on the scoresheet again in the win at Brighton & Hove, then netted his first-ever Premier League hat-trick versus Sheffield United, before scoring twice to help the Foxes defeat Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup.
Leicester City picked up seven points from a possible nine in the Premier League and qualified for the semifinals of the Emirates FA Cup.
Iheanacho is up against Luke Shaw (Manchester United), Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal), Jesse Lingard (West Ham United), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) for the prestigious award.
