West Ham interested in Slavia Prague's Nigeria international winger
Published: April 13, 2021
Nigeria international Peter Olayinka is drawing interest from this season's Premier League surprise package West Ham United.
Czech sports website Ruiz is reporting that Olayinka is one of three Slavia Prague players on the radar of West Ham before the opening of the transfer window, the others being Abdallah Sima and Ondřej Kolář.
The Hammers have done transfer business with Slavia Prague in the last few windows, signing defensive midfielder Tomáš Souček and right back Vladimír Coufal from the Czech champions.
Olayinka has seen his stock rise following his excellent performances this season, helping Slavia Prague remain unbeaten in the league and qualifying for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League.
The left winger is tied to Slavia until the end of the 2022-2023 season, having extended his contract with the club last December.
A product of 36 Lion, Olayinka arrived at Slavia Prague back in July 2018 for a fee in the region of three million euros.
