Racing Genk are driving a hard bargain with two-time Italian champions Lazio over a deal for their top scorer Paul Onuachu.
According to Voetbal Primeur citing Eleven Sports Dave Peters, Racing Genk is demanding at least thirty million euros for the free-scoring striker.
It is claimed that Lazio are willing to pay €25 million to try and lure the former FC Midtjylland man to the Serie A.
Lazio face competition for Onuachu's signature as he has been linked with Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyon and has been watched by other big-five European Leagues clubs.
The 26-year-old is enjoying the most prolific season of his professional career and his strike against RSC Anderlecht last night took his tally to an astonishing 37 goals in 42 appearances for club and country in 2020-2021.
If Lazio win the race for the 2.01 meters tall striker, he could follow in the footsteps of another FC Ebedei product Stephen Makinwa who represented The Biancocelesti in his playing days.
Onuachu has a contract with Racing Genk until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
