Manchester United in talks with Nigerian agent over signing of Borussia Dortmund winger
Published: June 09, 2021
According to transfer market guru Fabrizio Romano, English Premier League giants Manchester United are in talks with representatives of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
Sancho is represented by English-based Nigerian agent Emeka Obasi, who looks after Super Eagles stars Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi, Joe Aribo, Terem Moffi and Josh Maja.
Romano says Manchester United are thrashing out personal terms with Obasi but no official bid has been made to Borussia Dortmund.
Elite Project Group Limited's agency fees is not an issue in the proposed move.
Dortmund value Sancho in the region of 95 million euros, around 25m euros less than his asking price a year ago.
The 21-year-old is also on the radar of Liverpool but the Anfield side have not yet firmed up their interest.
Obasi also handles the affairs of Folarin Balogun, Chuba Akpom, Jordan Aina, Tobi Omole, Sheyi Ojo and Glasgow Rangers youth-teamer Malcolm Ebiowei, who was named in the Golden Eaglets provisional squad list for the 2019 U17 World Cup.
