Ex-Man Utd winger Kehinde in talks with FC Copenhagen, Zulte-Waregem; Brentford, QPR pull out
Published: June 11, 2021
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that former Manchester United starlet Tosin Kehinde is attracting interest from European clubs in the summer transfer window.
Transfer talks have began with the Zulte-Waregem hierarchy over a potential summer move.
Zulte-Waregem face competition from FC Copenhagen, who are negotiating a deal with the player's camp, and the fact that the 13-time Danish champions are in same league as Randers could put them in the driving seat for his services.
Randers will be competing in next season's Europa League by virtue of winning the Danish Cup and would like to keep Kehinde, who is under contract until June 2023.
However, the Lagos-born winger wants to try his luck elsewhere, so Randers are now looking at selling him at the right price.
Brentford had initially expressed interest in Kehinde but pulled out of talks after their promotion to the English Premier League.
Queens Park Rangers are also believed to have ended their attempts to sign him due to his price tag of 1.5 million euros.
Last season, the Randers number 10 contributed two goals and eight assists in 32 games across all competitions.
