Done deal : Nigeria U23 international completes transfer to Coventry City
Published: July 13, 2021Through their official website, League One club Coventry City have announced the signing of Nigeria U23 international Bright Enobakhare.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers academy product has joined the Sky Blues on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with Indian Super League side SC East Bengal.
Enobakhare has signed a two-year deal with Coventry City with the club having the option of a further year extension.
The 23-year-old is returning to Coventry City for a second spell after spending the second half of the 2018-2019 season on loan at the club, scoring six goals and registering three assists in 18 matches.
Despite his short spell at Coventry City, Enobakhare was awarded the Young Player of the Season.
The striker has Championship experience under his belt, playing 43 games combined for Wolves and Wigan Athletic.
His other clubs include Kilmarnock FC (Scotland) and AEK Athens (Greece).
A member of the Dream Team VII squad to the 2019 U23 AFCON, Enobakhare was involved in two of the three matches played by the national team during the tournament in Egypt.
