Official : Huddersfield sign Birmingham City's Nigerian striker on scholarship terms

With a statement on their official website, EFL Championship side Huddersfield Town have announced the signing of Nigeria-eligible striker Tyree Sanusi.
Sanusi has joined the Terriers from the academy team of Birmingham City and signed a two-year scholarship.
The 16-year-old will play for Huddersfield Town's U17s in the 2021-2022 campaign and board at Rishworth School with his new teammates.
Sanusi will be teammates with goalkeeper Sam Taylor, wingers Fopefoluwa Deru and Joseph Johnson, striker Michael Ailemen, central midfielders Dylan Helliwell and Tom Iorpenda, center backs Michael Parker and Archie Sheppard, left back Ajay Weston, attacking midfielders Cian Philpott and Hakeem Sandah.
The aforementioned players are eligible to be fielded in bespoke games programme consisting of EFL Youth Alliance fixtures
against Under-18 sides.
Sanusi could make his debut for Huddersfield Town youth team when they face Oldham Athletic on Saturday, July 17.
Nigerian fullback Charles Ondoh entered the second year of his scholarship with Huddersfield Town this month.
