Done deals: Ex-Inter Milan striker Ogunseye, Dinamo Zagreb's Atiemwen switch European clubs
Published: July 18, 2021Two attack-minded Nigerian players in the shape of Roberto Ogunseye and Iyayi Atiemwen switched European clubs on Saturday, July 17.
Italian Serie C side Modena have informed via their official website that they have signed Ogunseye on a three-year contract, a deal that sees him remain at the club until June 30, 2024.
Ogunseye, 26, is well known for his spell at Inter Milan and enjoyed loan spells at Marano, Montebelluna, Prato and Olbia during his time with the current Italian champions.
Last season, the center forward was at Cittadella where he totaled 42 appearances in the league, play offs and Coppa Italia, scoring six goals.
Omonoia Nicosia have brought in former Nigeria U23 international Atiemwen on loan from Dinamo Zagreb, informs the official website of the Cypriot First Division club.
The winger has joined Omonoia Nicosia on a season-long loan with an option to buy him next summer.
Iyayi has been on the books of Dinamo Zagren since 2019, he helped the Croatian side win the double and qualify for the quarterfinals of the Europa League in 2020-2021.
