On his competitive debut for Luton Town, Fred Onyedinma turned from provider to scorer to make it 3-0 when he finished a sensational ball in from Bree.
A division lower, Tayo Edun netted his fourth senior goal as Lincoln City earned a point on the road following a 1-1 draw with Gillingham at Priestfield Stadium.
Four minutes into the contest, Edun tapped in the rebound after an initial save from Cumming in the Gillingham goal.
Still in the division, former Flying Eagles invitee Freddie Ladapo certainly silenced the away fans after scoring in the tenth minute as Rotherham United recorded a 2-0 win over Plymouth Argyle at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
