Official : Udinese confirm re-signing of Watford striker Success until 2024
Published: August 26, 2021
Through their official website, Italian Serie A club Udinese have confirmed the signing of Nigeria international Isaac Success.
The 2013 U17 World Cup winner ended his association with sister club Watford after putting pen to paper on a contract until June 30, 2024.
Success has returned to Udinese, where he began his professional career, before switching to Spanish club Granada, from where he moved to Watford in the summer of 2016.
The 25-year-old is the second Nigeria-eligible player to join Udinese this summer after Destiny Udogie who arrived on loan from Hellas Verona.
The White and Blacks have also brought in Lazar Samardzic (RB Leipzig), Marco Silvestri (Hellas Verona) and Daniele Padelli (Inter Milan) this summer.
Success has been described as a pacy, versatile and physically strong striker who is able to play several attacking roles including second striker and winger.
He has not figured for the Super Eagles since playing for 45 minutes in a goalless draw with Uganda in November 2018.
